Meet Jocelyn
Jocelyn is a Certified Electrolysis, and owner of Pelo Electrolysis.
She has had a lifelong interest in health, and is currently completing her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology to supplement her background in human health and physiology.
Jocelyn was first introduced to electrolysis as a client who hated shaving and wanted a permanent solution to her unwanted hair.
After finding a CE in her area and experiencing the benefits of electrolysis first hand, she realized how much people can benefit from permanent hair removal and decided to start her training with Swanson’s Canadian Institute of Electrolysis.
After graduating, she started Pelo Electrolysis and is now in the process of opening up a private clinic space in Burnaby.

​​Our clinic is a Fraser Health-approved, Provincial Health Authority-recognized establishment owned and operated by a Certified Electrologist. As part of our dedication to excellence, we use only the highest quality, medical-grade products, and Health Canada-approved machines.
Cleanliness
We take health and safety very seriously and believe that cutting corners is unacceptable!
New, sterile, single-use electrolysis filaments are nitrile gloves are used for each client, and all tools used are cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner and sterilized using an autoclave.
Between each client, surfaces are disinfected and bedding is changed.
Comfort
​Our treatment bed is covered by sheets instead of paper and we use drapes to maintain privacy and comfort if articles of clothing need to be removed to access the treatment area (blankets are also available to keep you cozy). Our treatment bed is also equipped with a face hole to prevent neck strain when lying on your stomach.
Personalization
We work with each client individually to customize a treatment plan that fits their schedule, budget, and goals. Treatment length and frequency are customized based on your hair growth patterns while treatment modality and machine parameters are constantly adjusted to ensure hairs are being treated effectively. Clients are encouraged to ask questions, share their experiences, and make requests to further improve their electrolysis treatments.
